I don't know how to really approach this. Existentialism. What you do defines who you are.

It is said you have fate, but what you do to get to that point, is entirely up to you. Being added to the fact, that you're always selfish, even if it's just a little bit. You are. Anything you do/did do for 'the good of others,' can always be traced back to why it's in the end, about you. It says, you have a destiny but you make your own path. Not God nor religion should be brought into this. Wikipedia's view on this: "Human beings, through their own consciousness, create their own values and determine a meaning to their life." Hmm, maybe but I believe in things which are logically supported, not religiously. I consider myself an existentialist person, but think about it, stories of hero's & even of God, could be made up. Just be passed on and told all around the world. I admit, I am still confused on the idea and concept, but in the end, here's my advice  Don't judge yourself too harshly, it won't matter in 50-100 years from now. Do what makes you happy, forget theories and stories and concepts. Don't look for proof and don't go exploring things that you'll never have a complete answer too. Believe what you want to believe and don't second guess your choices.
